Our garden apprentices have been hard at work at the garden this season! Here's some of the things they've been up to:
- We have harvested lots of garlic (7/14) and onions (7/7).😄
- Cleared up a spot in the greenhouse for planting.(7/7)
- Weeded and mulched most of the greenhouse.(7/7-7/11)
- Weeded 3 sisters (big takedown of knotweed.)(7/9)🙃
- Onions weeded.(7/10)
- Weeded and mulched tomatillos and peppers.(7/10-7/11)
- Cucumbers and beans planted in the middle of a garden that was previously weeded and cleared for planting.(7/10-7/11)
- Weeded pepper pathways.( ongoing)
- Garlic harvested, weighed and put away in the shed and hung them up there so they could dry.(7/14-15)
- We have trellising the peppers and tomatoes 7/10-7/11😊
- We have put in fish emulsion to prevent pests also to fertilize. 7/11🙁
