Local School Gardens
Natchaug School Garden (123 Jackson Street, Willimantic, CT) was built in 2014 with the support of the Beagary Charitable Foundation. The garden serves as an outdoor classroom where students learn about plant science, habitats, nutrition, and garden wildlife.
Windham Center School Garden (45 North Road, Windham, CT) was built in 2013 with the support of FoodCorps CT. The garden provides fresh produce for classroom and after school cooking projects and and serves as an outdoor classroom for garden-based science activities.
